Celebrating National Doctors’ Day 2026 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️💙

The Indian Medical Association, Manipur State Branch (IMA MSB) proudly observed National Doctors’ Day 2026 on 1st July 2026 at IMA House, Lamphelpat, centred around the theme “Behind the Mask: Who Heals the Healers?”

The event was attended by over 150 doctors from across Manipur, celebrating the unity and dedication of the medical fraternity.

A special highlight of the evening was the honouring of 10 eminent senior doctors in recognition of their lifelong service and outstanding contributions to healthcare in the state.

IMA MSB CME 26.0

The IMA Manipur State Branch (IMA MSB) successfully organised IMA MSB CME 26.0 on 1st July 2026 at IMA House, Lamphelpat, with support from Karkinos Healthcare, Manipur.

The academic session featured 4 eminent speakers and 4 distinguished chairpersons, who shared the latest updates in the management of Gallbladder Carcinoma.

The CME witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 100 delegates representing various departments and healthcare organisations across Manipur, reflecting the collective commitment of the medical fraternity towards continuous learning and excellence in patient care.

Indian Medical Association, Manipur State Branch (IMA MSB) joins hands with the Association of Surgeons of India, Manipur State Chapter (ASI MSC) to proudly co-organise the “National Surgeons’ Week 2026” Cyclothon on 9th June 2026.

The event was flagged-off from IMA House, Lamphelpat by Dr. Simpson Sareo (President, IMA MSB), Dr. N. Somorjit Singh (Chairman, ASI MSC), Dr. Shyamkumar L (IP Director, IMA CGP FACULTY Manipur) and Dr. Dhanabir Th (Secretary, ASI MSC), and flagged-in at AOI, Babina Hospital, Khabeisoi.

A total of 100 surgeons, doctors, healthcare professionals and cycling enthusiasts came together to promote fitness, wellness and preventive healthcare, covering a distance of 30 km while reinforcing the message that healthy healthcare providers help build a healthier society.

The observance of "World No To***co Day 2026" was successfully held on 1st June 2026 at IMA Hall, Lamphelpat under the theme “Unmasking the Appeal – Countering Ni****ne and To***co Addiction.” The event was jointly organised by Directorate of Health Services, Government of Manipur; State Health Society, NHM Manipur and IMA, Manipur State Branch

The programme was graced by Dr. N. Hemantakumar Singh (Director of Health Services, Government of Manipur), Dr. M. Dinesh Singh (State Mission Director, NHM Manipur), Dr. N.
