On the occasion of IAP CPR Day 2026 (21st July), Medicare Hospital & Research Centre, in association with the Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP ALS-BLS Group), proudly hosted a CPR Training Workshop dedicated to spreading life-saving skills within our community.

Observed nationwide in memory of the great teacher Dr. Aanand Shandilya, this initiative reinforces the belief that every citizen can become a lifesaver with the right knowledge and timely action.

The workshop witnessed the enthusiastic participation of approximately 125 attendees, including Medicare staff and patient attendants, who gained valuable hands-on CPR training under expert guidance.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Lahoti Sir for his constant encouragement and support, the Indian Academy of Paediatrics, and all the delegates whose active participation made this event a great success.

Because when more people know CPR, more lives can be saved.

National Recognition. A Shared Achievement.

Medicare Hospital & Research Centre, Indore, has been honoured with the prestigious "Best Healthcare Institution" award at the 37th edition of the Cluster of Achievers, ( .events )held in New Delhi.

The award was presented by Olympic medalist, renowned boxer and Padma Vibhushan awardee Mary Kom, recognizing Medicare's excellence in healthcare and its continued commitment to quality patient care.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pradeep Apte, Director, Medicare Hospital & Research Centre, dedicated this honour to the vision of the institution's founders, Dr. Rajendra Kumar Lahoti and Dr. Purushottamdas Patwa, whose leadership laid the foundation of Medicare over 40 years ago.

He also shared that this recognition belongs to the entire Medicare family, including every doctor, nurse, staff member, well-wisher, and the thousands of patients who have placed their trust in Medicare over the years.

Adding another proud milestone to the occasion, Maryland State University (USA) conferred an Honorary Doctorate upon Dr. Pradeep Apte in Clinical Biochemistry, recognizing his 50 years of contribution to the field of science.
