Spine therapy spine is backbone of body

20/10/2026

Your spine doesn’t work alone.
It sits on your pelvis. And your pelvis decides how every ounce of load travels up through your back.
When the pelvis tilts forward, rotates, or loses stability:
→ Your lower back curve changes
→ Your rib cage compresses to compensate
→ Your breathing becomes shallow
→ Your neck shifts forward
→ Your disc starts taking pressure from the wrong angle
Day after day. Step after step.
This is why disc bulge pain keeps coming back for so many people.
The disc is not always the real problem. The way your pelvis loads your spine is.
You may feel it as:
→ Lower back pain
→ Sciatica pain
→ Pain shooting down the leg
→ Tingling or numbness
→ Pain while sitting or walking
→ Constant stiffness
So before you stare at your MRI report again…
Look at your pelvis.
Because when pelvic alignment improves, your spine gets the space to move, breathe, and handle pressure the way it was designed to.
Comment “PELVIS” and I’ll show you how your pelvis may be creating pressure on your spine.

Your feet point outward. Is your back paying for it?
Duck feet (outward-pointing feet) are not just a foot issue.
When your toes turn out on every step, the load doesn’t travel evenly through your body. The legs rotate, the hips adjust, and the pelvis compensates to keep you balanced.
That chain reaction can show up as:
→ Ankle and knee strain
→ Changed hip position
→ Pelvic misalignment
→ Uneven walking mechanics
→ Extra pressure on the lower back
It’s why many people with duck feet also deal with hip tightness, piriformis irritation, sciatica-like pain, or lower-back pain that keeps coming back.
Forcing your feet to point straight is not the fix.
First find out why they turn out. It could be:
✔ Foot mechanics
✔ Limited hip mobility
✔ Muscle imbalance
✔ Pelvic position
✔ The way your body shares load while walking
Fix the cause, and the whole movement chain works better. Fixing only how your feet look doesn’t.
💾 Save this, then walk naturally and watch where your feet land.
Comment “ALIGN” and I’ll help you check whether your foot position is feeding your back, hip, or leg pain.

Your pelvis is the base of your spine.
Whatever happens at the base shows up all the way to the neck.
When the pelvis tips forward, tips back, twists, or can’t hold steady, the spine has to adjust:
The lumbar curve increases or flattens.
The ribs shift to make up for it.
The neck moves forward to rebalance the head.
Every step lands a little uneven.
Day after day, the load on your spine comes from the wrong angle.
That’s why disc bulge pain can keep returning even after rest, medication, or short-term relief. The disc is often where you feel it, but not always where it begins.
A pelvis that isn’t stable keeps feeding extra stress into the lower back, and the discs and nerves take the hit.
Over time, this can show up as:
→ Lower back pain
→ Sciatica pain
→ Pain traveling down the leg
→ Tingling or numbness
→ Discomfort while sitting or walking
→ A stiff, heavy body
So don’t stop at the MRI report or the spot that hurts.
Look at how your pelvis is positioned and how it moves.
When pelvic alignment improves, the spine can move more freely, breathe better, and share load more evenly.
Comment “PELVIS” and we’ll show you how pelvic imbalance may be adding pressure to your spine.

Resting for a Disc Bulge? Here’s When Rest Stops Helping 📌
Rest matters right after a disc bulge flares up. Your body needs that window to calm the inflammation and ease the pain.
But resting too long can quietly slow your disc bulge recovery.
Why prolonged bed rest backfires:
Spine-supporting muscles weaken and tighten
Weight gain adds extra load on the disc
Staying in one posture day after day keeps the spine stuck in a wrong position
What actually helps a disc bulge heal:
✅ Gentle, correct movement (not none, not too much)
✅ Yoga asanas with deep, conscious breathing
✅ Real posture correction, not just lying down
✅ Strengthening the muscles that support your spine
✅ Releasing tight hips and pelvis that pull on the lower back
✅ Fixing how you sit, stand, and sleep
✅ Rebuilding confidence to move without fear
This is exactly what we do in yoga therapy for disc bulge: no heavy workouts, no medicines. Just safe, guided movement and breathing for natural back pain relief.
Done resting and still not feeling better?

“Why do discs stop healing? Because we stop moving.”

Pain makes you move less.
Less movement makes the pain worse.

It’s a cycle I see in almost every disc bulge and sciatica client.

Here’s what most people never get told:

Your spinal disc has no direct blood supply. It gets its nutrients through fluid movement, and that depends on how you move.

→ Sitting for long hours keeps the disc compressed
→ No fluid goes in, no waste comes out
→ The disc gets dry, weak, and more sensitive to pain
→ Fear of pain leads to even less movement

The solution isn’t complete rest. It’s the right movement:

Compression → Decompression → Repeated gentle movement

This helps fluid and nutrients flow back into the disc, supporting hydration and recovery.

What you can start doing today:

→ Move every day
→ Strengthen your body
→ Improve spinal mobility
→ Sleep well
→ Manage stress and pain

Movement is medicine, but it has to be precise for your spine, your pain, and your root cause.

That’s exactly what we do in yoga therapy, 1:1 online, without surgery and without steroids.
