Awareness Program on Organic Food and Pollution-Free Lifestyle Organized at LCH Fitness, Indore
An awareness program on “Organic Food & Pollution-Free Life for Health of Planet & People” was successfully organized by Life Care Hospital and LCH Fitness in collaboration with Jimmy & Janak MacGilligan Foundation for Sustainable Development with the objective of promoting healthy living and environmental responsibility.
The program was graced by the presence of Padma Shri awardee Dr. Janak Palta, who delivered an inspiring and insightful address emphasizing the importance of a disciplined and nature-friendly lifestyle. She shared her decades-long experience of working with tribal women in promoting organic living practices and highlighted that many of these women now depend largely on self-sustained natural resources for their daily needs, purchasing only two or three essential items from the market. She emphasized that adopting an organic lifestyle not only improves personal health but also contributes significantly to environmental protection and sustainable living.
On the occasion, Dr. Brajbala Tiwari, Consultant Gynaecologist and Infertility Specialist, delivered an informative presentation highlighting the importance of organic food for women’s health, family well-being, and the health of future generations. She emphasized that healthy nutrition forms the foundation of a healthy society and that adopting a pollution-free lifestyle can help prevent many lifestyle-related diseases.
Senior Cardiologist Dr. Bharat Rawat also addressed the gathering and shared important lifestyle recommendations for maintaining heart health. He stressed the importance of regular physical activity, balanced diet, stress management, and minimizing exposure to pollution for preventing cardiovascular diseases.
A large number of citizens participated enthusiastically in the program and appreciated the initiative. The event proved to be a meaningful step toward spreading awareness about preventive healthcare and environmental sustainability in the community.
