SDMH came into being on November 29, 1971, and was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister, Smt. It was immediately dedicated to the nation as India was then in the throes of a war with Pakistan. It was the first private hospital of the State. It commenced operations

State of Rajasthan but also reaching out to neighbouring states like Punjab, Haryana.
