Becoming a mother changed the way I look at my own mom forever. đŸ€

The older I grow, the more I realize how much love exists in the quiet things mothers do every single day — the sacrifices we never noticed, the exhaustion they hid, the care that never stopped.

Motherhood has made me softer, stronger, and infinitely more grateful for the woman who raised me.

Breastfeeding is natural. But that doesn’t mean it always feels easy.

One day you’re told, “Breastfeed. It’s the best for your baby.”

And the next
 “Don’t feed to sleep. You’re creating a habit.”

So many mothers sit there at night, holding their baby, feeding them to sleep
 and wondering,

“Why does this feel so right, but everyone says it’s wrong?”

Here’s the truth:

Babies are biologically designed to relax, regulate, and fall asleep at the breast.

It’s not a bad habit. It’s not something you’ve “created.”

It’s how your baby feels safe.

What actually makes a difference is not whether you feed to sleep — but how the entire routine around it looks.

Small changes in timing, flow, and cues can support both connection and better sleep.

Many mothers worry that they don’t have enough milk in the early days after birth.

But often, the issue is not the amount of milk — it’s the signal your body is receiving.

Breastmilk works on a simple principle:
Demand → Supply

When milk is removed frequently and effectively, your body understands that more milk is needed.

But if a baby is very sleepy, not transferring milk well, or feeds are infrequent, the body may receive the message to produce less.

This is why the first weeks after birth are so important for establishing milk supply.

Sometimes simple changes in feeding, positioning, or stimulation can completely transform your breastfeeding journey.

Leaving your baby to “cry it out” so they can learn to “self settle” can feel incredibly hard for many parents.

For a baby, crying is not manipulation — it’s communication.
It’s their way of saying “I need you.”

When a parent responds with comfort, touch, and presence, the baby isn’t being “spoiled.”
They are learning something far more important — that the world is safe and someone will come when they need help.

Every family chooses what feels right for them.
But responding to your baby with love, closeness, and reassurance builds the foundation of trust, attachment, and emotional security.

If you feel that instinct to pick your baby up, hold them, feed them, rock them —
