Saving teeth, restoring smiles—precision endodontics at work 🦷✨
🦷‼️ A patient presented to our clinic with the chief complaint of persistent pain and food lodgement in the lower posterior region. Clinical examination revealed a carious lesion involving a lower premolar tooth.
Radiographic evaluation confirmed the presence of a deep carious lesion extending into the pulpal space, indicating pulpal involvement.
Considering the diagnosis, root canal treatment was planned and carried out under strict rubber dam isolation to ensure complete asepsis and contamination control throughout the procedure.
Following successful cleaning, shaping, and obturation of the canals, post-endodontic restoration was performed using a highly filled composite material. Special attention was given to re-establish proper proximal contact and anatomical contour with the adjacent tooth, thereby restoring both function and preventing future food impaction.
The patient reported complete relief from pain and improved comfort during mastication post-treatment.
