He pursued his MBBS from GMC Amritsar, and MS from Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot. Later, he went on to complete his training in M.Ch Surgical Oncology from Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute, a unit of Tata Memorial Centre where he was trained in managing all kinds of solid tumors except for the brain and spine. astrointestinal Cancers, Gyn ecological Cancers, Urological Cancers, Bone and Soft Tissue Sarcomas, Skin Cancers, and most importantly Breast Cancers and Breast Oncoplastic procedures. Apart from this, he is a professional athlete, a National level swimmer, and a water polo player. He is also an avid reader and a mental and physical fitness enthusiast.
