Prostate cancer (xenograft mouse model):
Plumbagin (2 mg/kg, intraperitoneal, 5 days/week over 8 weeks) significantly inhibited tumor growth and metastasis of PC‑3M human prostate cancer cells. It downregulated PKCε, pStat3, survivin, Bcl‑xL, MMP2/9, uPA, VEGF and CD31 .
