Some moments in life beautifully bring the journey full circle.
In the early 1990s, when I went to learn laparoscopy under Dr Pradeep Chaubey, I had the privilege of meeting Dr Randhir Sud for the first time. Those days became a defining phase of my learning, as I spent my afternoons with him, mastering endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP under his expert guidance.
Recently, during an Abbott programme in Delhi, meeting him again after nearly three decades brought back a flood of memories and emotions. What touched me most was that, despite reaching such extraordinary heights at Medanta, his warmth and affection remained the same as they had been all those years ago.
It was a true privilege and an overwhelming honour to present him with the complete set of my books through Mr Jain, Chairman of CBS Publishers & Distributors.
A memory I will forever cherish with immense gratitude, respect, and emotion.
