JIAR actively participated in a Free Health Camp and Medicine Distribution Drive, organised by Raunak-e-Jammu in association with SIBA Events on October 17, 2026, in Jammu.
Representing JIAR Hospital, Dr. Nidhi Rajput, Assistant Professor, Department of Shalya Ta**ra, attended the initiative along with Dr. Siddharth and Dr. Arushi, PG Scholars, Department of Shalya Ta**ra, and Dr. Shivani, Medical Officer (MO).
The programme focused on promoting community well-being through free health check-ups, medicine distribution, and essential training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The CPR training session aimed to spread awareness about this vital life-saving technique and equip participants with the knowledge needed to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
JIAR’s participation reflects its continued commitment to community service, preventive healthcare, and public health awareness. By actively engaging in such initiatives, the institution strives to bridge the gap between healthcare services and the community while encouraging its faculty members and postgraduate scholars to contribute meaningfully to society.
Such collaborative efforts highlight the importance of collective responsibility in building a healthier, safer, and more aware community.
