5th CAESAREAN SURGERY OF A WOMAN!
With increase in number of caesarean sections, there is a consequent increase in the number of repeat caesareans also. So nowadays, 2nd and 3rd LSCS are common; but higher than these are still rarely seen.

With every surgery, the next one becomes even more difficult, complicated and riskier for the patient. But the immense desire for a boy child makes the woman and her family keep risking her life repeatedly!

Yesterday, I did a 5th caesarean on a pt with previous 4 LSCS ! And I was a bit anxious before surgery, but I was amazed to see a very clean abdomen and uterus with absolutely no adhesions! Luckily all previous 4 LSCS were done by us and it made me think that the technique of surgery matters a lot in post op healing.

By the grace of God, the mother was able to carry the pregnancy smoothly till term ; and both mother and child are absolutely safe and healthy 🙏🏻

But I want to request women and specially their husbands and family members to not put her life in danger again and again! She is not in this world to give birth to a Male child… SHE IS A LIFE HERSELF! And she has a complete right to live a healthy life and not a compromised one!
It’s high time we reform our societal norms! 🙏🏻
