Pain – & Symptoms
• Lower back pain radiating to one leg
• Burning or electric shock–like pain
• Numbness or tingling in leg/foot
• Weakness in affected leg
• Pain increases while sitting or bending

If pain lasts more than 2–3 weeks or there is weakness → consult a specialist. Diagnosis
• Clinical examination
• MRI of lumbar spine (if severe/persistent pain)
• X-ray (basic assessment)
