🌍 World Breastfeeding Week 2026
Basic Lactation Workshop & Breastfeeding Awareness Programme

NICE Advanced Neonatal Care Centre & Children’s Clinic was privileged to conduct a Basic Lactation Workshop for the enthusiastic medical students of LRP Ayurvedic Medical College as part of World Breastfeeding Week 2026.

The workshop focused on:
🤱 Importance of exclusive breastfeeding
👶 Correct positioning and attachment (latch)
🍼 Common breastfeeding challenges and their management
💙 Human Milk Banking and donor milk awareness
📚 Practical demonstrations with interactive learning sessions

The students actively participated throughout the workshop, asked thoughtful questions, and showed great enthusiasm in learning evidence-based breastfeeding practices. Their involvement made the session highly interactive, informative, and inspiring.

We sincerely thank the management, faculty, and students of LRP Ayurvedic Medical College for their warm hospitality and active participation. Together, we can empower future healthcare professionals to promote, protect, and support breastfeeding for every mother and every baby.
