🗣️ Is your child repeating words or sounds?
If your little one (aged 2 to 6) is suddenly repeating words like "B-B-B-Ball" or taking a bit longer to get their sentences out, don't panic! 🛑
This is often what experts call "normal non-fluency". As children join playgroups, make new friends, and explore the world, their desire to communicate often grows faster than their vocabulary. It's a natural part of their speech development journey! 🎈
🌟 How can you support them?
Be Patient: Listen to them with full attention.
Give Them Time: Let them finish their sentences without rushing.
Stay Positive: Avoid saying "speak faster" or "say it properly".
Encourage: Appreciate what they are saying rather than how they are saying it.
In most cases, this improves naturally as they grow more confident with language. However, if you're still concerned, it's always a good idea to chat with a professional!
