IUGR is a condition where a fetus's growth slows or stops while in the uterus, resulting in a baby that is smaller than expected for its gestational age.

It’s worrisome for pregnant woman, however in multidisciplinary team approach involving Fetal medicine consultant for timely detection and supervised follow up , experienced obstetrician for intervention balancing risk of premature delivery vs Fetal morbidity/mortality risk and ofcourse dedicated neonatologist having proper NICU are essential in management and successful outcome.

IUGR হলো এমন একটি অবস্থা যেখানে জরায়ুতে থাকাকালীন ভ্রূণের বৃদ্ধি ধীর হয়ে যায় বা বন্ধ হয়ে যায়, যার ফলে গর্ভকালীন বয়সের তুলনায় শিশুটি প্রত্যাশার চেয়ে ছোট হয়।
