We as doctors have always been on the unfortunate side of any movement for our/ societal benefits at large because of our smaller numbers
This is probably one of the first time that the whole nation has been alongside us so far cutting across party lines, regional divisions of colleges , professions of all types and most importantly the common man/ woman
We are indeed very fortunate this time and immense gratitude for all.
I know it is a difficult time for patients even if non emergency as we shut down our non emergency services today, and all are cooperating with us with full heart and soul
Let's let them know that we are very grateful for this and definitely we will not cause any more pressures on them further
Even today if any of our neighbours / patients need urgent help we will be by their side
