I sincerely thank Deepanjan Ghosh for this wonderful podcast. What was meant to be an interview soon dissolved into a warm, effortless conversation - so soothing, spontaneous, and informal that I scarcely realised that almost one and three-quarter hours had quietly slipped by.
Our conversation wandered through many facets of neurosurgery, not merely the science and craft of operating on the brain and spine, but also the experiences and emotions that accompany this extraordinary profession. Interwoven with these were glimpses of my personal philosophy, the principles that have guided me through life, my passions beyond the operating theatre, my hobbies, and a few reflections gathered along the journey.
