šŸ¦“ Drop Arm Sign: A Simple Test for Shoulder Problems

The Drop Arm Sign is a clinical test commonly used by orthopedic surgeons to assess possible rotator cuff problems, particularly involving the supraspinatus tendon.

If you are unable to slowly lower your arm from an elevated position, or experience sudden pain or weakness while doing so, it may indicate a shoulder tendon injury. However, a positive Drop Arm Sign alone does not confirm a diagnosis. Proper clinical evaluation and, when required, imaging are important.
