Dr. Sanjoy Mandal has done his graduation (MBBS) from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He subsequently did his post-graduation (MS, Master of surgery in General Surgery) form AIIMS. He has done 3 years senior registrar training in the Department of Surgical Disciplines at the same institute. He has also done the Diplomate in National Board (DNB) in Genera
l Surgery and the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (MRCS Ed). He has super-specialized in gastrointestinal surgery and liver transplantation for which he did a 3 year training from G B Pant hospital and MAM College, Delhi University and was subsequently awarded the degree of MCh (Master of chirurgie) in GI Surgery. He has formerly worked as a consultant in Department of GI Surgery at the AMRI Hospitals in Kolkata and in the Department of GI Surgery & Liver Transplantation at Apollo Gleneagles Hospital in Kolkata. Currently he is the Director and Senior Consultant of Medica Institute of Gastroenterology and GI Surgery at Medica Superspecialty Hospital in Kolkata. He is also available at Salt Lake Specialty Clinic, Kolkata.
