Trying to Conceive? Here's How to Find Your Fertile Window

Here's a simple method you can calculate on your own, explained by Dr. Sudeshna Saha, Consultant Gynecologist & Laparoscopic Surgeon.

📝 How to calculate it:

1️⃣ Note the span between the first day of your period and the first day of your next period (this is your cycle length). For example, let's say it's 30 days.
2️⃣ Subtract 14 from your cycle length. So for a 30-day cycle, your estimated ovulation day would be Day 16.
3️⃣ Your fertile window is approximately 5 days before ovulation and 3 days after it — giving you roughly 8–9 fertile days each cycle.

This simple calculation can help you plan better if you're trying to conceive. Keep in mind that cycle lengths can vary month to month, so tracking over a few cycles gives a more accurate picture.
