We always request parents: If you notice speech delay, poor communication, attention difficulties, or developmental concerns in your child, please don’t wait.

If a doctor says your child has mild autism, don’t simply wait and hope that things will improve on their own.

❤️ A STORY OF TRUST, HOPE & PROGRESS ❤️

At just 2 years and 6 months, this little child came to us with speech delay. A paediatrician had referred the family for speech therapy.

Like any mother, she was worried. She wanted to understand what was really happening with her child and searched for the right place to begin the journey.

That’s when she found ISIRC, Kolkata. ❤️

After a multi-layer assessment, our therapists explained the child’s developmental needs and suggested 6 months of intensive, structured therapy.

We told the mother, “Give us time, trust the process, and let us work with your child.”

And then something beautiful happened. ❤️

Within just one month, the family started noticing remarkable changes.

❤️ বিশ্বাস, আশা ও অগ্রগতির একটি গল্প ❤️

মাত্র ২ বছর ৬ মাস বয়সে এই ছোট্ট শিশুটি আমাদের কাছে এসেছিল কথা বলতে দেরি হওয়ার সমস্যা নিয়ে। একজন শিশু বিশেষজ্ঞ পরিবারটিকে স্পিচ থেরাপির পরামর্শ দিয়েছিলেন।

একজন মা হিসেবে তিনি খুব চিন্তিত ছিলেন। তিনি জানতে চেয়েছিলেন, তাঁর সন্তানের আসলে কী সমস্যা হচ্ছে এবং কোথা থেকে সঠিকভাবে শুরু করা যায়। তাই তিনি সঠিক জায়গার খোঁজ করতে থাকেন।

সেইভাবেই তিনি ISIRC, Kolkata-এর সন্ধান পান। ❤️

বিভিন্ন দিক থেকে বিস্তারিত assessment করার পর আমাদের therapists শিশুটির developmental needs মাকে বুঝিয়ে বলেন এবং ৬ মাসের intensive ও structured therapy করার পরামর্শ দেন।

আমরা মাকে বলেছিলাম,
“আমাদের একটু সময় দিন, আমাদের উপর বিশ্বাস রাখুন এবং আপনার সন্তানকে নিয়ে আমাদের কাজ করার সুযোগ দিন।”

তারপর ঘটতে শুরু করল সুন্দর কিছু পরিবর্তন। ❤️

মাত্র এক মাসের মধ্যেই পরিবার শিশুটির মধ্যে বেশ কিছু পরিবর্তন লক্ষ্য করতে শুরু করে।

আজ, ৬ মাসের নিয়মিত therapy-এর পর, শিশুটি অনেক ভালোভাবে কথা বুঝতে পারছে, আরও ভালোভাবে যোগাযোগ করতে পারছে এবং দীর্ঘ বাক্যে কথা বলতে পারছে। 🥹❤️

এটি শুধু একটি শিশুর অগ্রগতির গল্প নয়—
এটি একজন মায়ের বিশ্বাস, একটি শিশুর সম্ভাবনা এবং নিয়মিত intervention-এর শক্তির গল্প। ❤️

এটা শুধু একটা প্রমাণ নয়—

এই মা ও ছেলের জন্য আমরা সত্যিই খুব খুশি। মাত্র ৬ মাসে ওরা যেভাবে অসাধারণ উন্নতি করেছে, তা সত্যিই আনন্দের ও গর্বের। ❤️
