🌙 HONORED TO DELIVER AN ACADEMIC LECTURE ON SLEEP MEDICINE

It was a privilege to deliver a presentation on "Sleep in the Cloud" and discuss the evolving role of Myofunctional Therapy in the management of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA).

The opportunity to engage with faculty members, clinicians, residents, and students, exchange ideas, and explore emerging perspectives in sleep medicine was truly enriching. Meaningful academic discussions such as these strengthen our collective efforts to improve patient care and advance the field.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Manoranjan Sir, Head of the Department of Pulmonary Medicine, and the entire team at SCB Medical College and Hospital for their warm hospitality, generous support, and the opportunity to share my work.

🎓 **Honored to Receive Second Prize in Oral Presentation at SLEEPCON 2026** 🌙

I am pleased to share that our research was awarded **Second Prize in the Oral Presentation category at SLEEPCON 2026**, held at *The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi*, organized by the Indian Sleep Disorders Association (ISDA) in collaboration with the Department of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital.

I had the privilege of presenting our work:

**“Telemonitored Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy in Obstructive Sleep Apnea: Improvements in Sleepiness, Quality of Life, and Medication Burden.”**

This study highlights the emerging role of **telemonitored Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT)** as a patient-centered therapeutic approach in selected patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA).

**No Mask. No Hose. No PAP. Just Sleep.**

Our findings demonstrated meaningful improvements in:
🔹 Daytime sleepiness
🔹 Quality of life
🔹 Medication burden
🔹 Patient engagement through digital health technologies

As sleep medicine evolves toward precision and personalized care, innovative non-device-based interventions may broaden therapeutic possibilities and enhance long-term adherence and patient outcomes.

SLEEPCON 2026 provided an outstanding platform for scientific exchange, multidisciplinary collaboration, and discussions on emerging advances shaping the future of sleep medicine.

I extend my sincere gratitude to my mentors, co-authors, faculty members, and colleagues for their guidance, encouragement, and support. Receiving this recognition is both humbling and motivating, reinforcing my commitment to evidence-based research and advancing patient-centered sleep care.

*Redefining sleep therapy—beyond devices, toward personalized care.*

Congratulations to ProSomnus Sleep Technologies, a leading non-CPAP therapy innovator in Obstructive Sleep Apnea, on FDA Class II clearance of the RPMOâ‚‚ oral appliance system.

This marks an important step forward in sleep medicine—enabling remote monitoring of treatment response and adherence through continuous physiological data, strengthening follow-up in oral appliance therapy.

By integrating real-time SpOâ‚‚ and pulse rate monitoring directly into an oral appliance, this innovation shifts the field from symptom-based and intermittent assessments toward more objective, longitudinal care.

Institute of Sleep Science is looking forward to integrating this technology for patients seeking alternatives to PAP therapy.

Myofunctional Therapy is gaining global attention — a time-tested approach now reimagined for modern sleep care.

By combining targeted breathing techniques with structured orofacial exercises, we are witnessing meaningful improvements in patients with sleep-disordered breathing.

Here’s to a future of “No Mask, No Hose, No CPAP — just better sleep.”

Positive feedback from patients and their families continues to reinforce one key belief: the right therapy, delivered at the right time, can truly transform outcomes.

We also encourage parents to consider a second opinion before opting for surgical interventions such as tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy (T&A), ensuring the most appropriate and personalized treatment for their child.
