Attending the SOVSI Annual Conference on 16th and 17th May at Hotel Beach Orchid,Kollam.

Under the eminent leadership of Dr V P Pailey ,the organisers did a wonderful job.

Hats off to Reena madam,Minu ,Kavitha madam and all local organizing team,you can be proud of it.

Beyond the academics,it was a perfect blend of professional growth, networking and memorable moments with friends.

Grateful to have been part of such a meaningful gathering.

ഇന്നലെ കിട്ടിയ പണി 😃

She is a 35 yr old unmarried girl, working in health care,had heavy bleeding and mass abdomen, diagnosed as having multiple fibroids in uterus,she was anaemic and had multiple blood transfusions,she was scared to do surgery as she thought it will end up in losing her uterus.
When she came to me,only request was
'Dr, please don't remove my uterus '

The end result.
We could remove atleast 10 fibroids,big and small,and beautifully reconstructed her uterus.

Bottom line.
Delaying child bearing is a risk for uterine fibroids
Timely diagnosis and treatment is crucial to regain health .
Fibroid removal doesn't compromise your fertility wishes.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, I had the privilege of conducting a Breast Cancer Awareness session for a bunch of beautiful ladies who help us smile better😁

Focussing the importance of early detection, regular screening, and breast self-examination.

Some hard facts...

*Breast cancer is the most common cancer of women in India
*Every 4 minutes,one woman is diagnosed with cancer breast
*Every 14 minutes,one woman dies if cancer breast

But we can reduce the death rates by detecting it early through screening.

It was encouraging to see such active participation and interest from the women who attended the session.

Let us continue to support each other and spread awareness so that more women can benefit from early diagnosis and treatment.
