A large fibroid does not always mean a difficult surgery. With advanced technology, a 3D camera, and expert surgical skills, even a 12–14 cm fibroid can be safely removed through minimally invasive surgery.

Can fibroids affect teenage girls? 🤔

Most people believe fibroids occur only in women between the ages of 25–40 years, but in rare cases they can also develop at a much younger age.

At Rajdeep Fertility Research Centre, we recently managed two rare cases of multiple fibroids in 16-year-old and 22-year-old girls. One patient had 12 fibroids, severe anemia due to heavy bleeding, while the other experienced difficulty passing urine because the fibroids were pressing on the bladder.
