Thudakkam– Malayalam Movie Review 🎬

Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph and starring Vismaya Mohanlal and Ashish Antony, Thudakkam revolves around a very interesting premise that deserves to be explored.

What really stood out for me is the way the film blends emotion and action. The movie delivers some genuinely wow moments, while the emotional portions give the story the depth it needs. The action sequences are crafted really well, keeping the film engaging throughout.

The music complements the narrative beautifully, and the editing by Chaman deserves special mention for maintaining a good pace and flow.

Overall, Thudakkam was a thoroughly entertaining experience for me. It has an interesting story, strong emotional moments, well-executed action, and enough cinematic highs to make it a good theatrical entertainer.

A simple order of four bananas turned into an absolute nightmare. 🍌

Yesterday morning, right after my workout, I was hungry and decided to order bananas through Swiggy. I expected conveniencebut what I got was disappointment.

I paid more than double the regular price for just four bananas, only to receive fruits that were bruised, overripe, and practically unfit to eat.

Convenience should never come at the cost of quality. If customers are paying a premium, the least they deserve is fresh, edible produce.

This isn’t just about four bananas. It’s about accountability and respecting the people who trust your platform. Poor quality products should never be passed on to customers, especially when they’re paying extra for the service.

Cars are changing faster than ever and not always in ways enthusiasts hoped for.

Physical A/C buttons are disappearing.
Mechanical handbrakes are becoming electronic switches.

The raw sound of a naturally aspirated or turbo petrol engine is being replaced by silence.

Technology has made cars safer, smarter, and more efficient. But somewhere along the way, many feel we’ve lost the mechanical soul that made driving an experience, not just a commute.

The next generation may never know the satisfaction of pulling a handbrake, shifting through gears, or hearing a cold engine come alive on an early morning drive. They’ll grow up with touchscreens, software updates, and electric motors.

“Can an iPhone replace a professional camera?” the answer depends on what you’re creating.

The iPhone 17 Pro is an incredible piece of technology. It’s always with you, shoots amazing videos, handles stabilization beautifully, and for social media, it does almost everything you need.

But once you step into serious filmmaking, everything changes.

The Nikon ZR delivers a completely different experience. The natural depth, the cinematic bokeh, the dynamic range, the color science, and the flexibility in post-production are on another level. It’s not just about image quality it’s about how much creative freedom you have when lighting, grading, and telling a story.

Is it fair to compare a phone with a dedicated cinema camera? Not really.

If your goal is Instagram, YouTube Shorts, or quick content creation, the iPhone is more than capable.

But if you’re chasing that true cinematic look and want maximum control over every frame, a professional camera still has no substitute.

Different tools. Different purposes. The best camera is the one that matches your vision.

Kozhikode to kumily
From the streets of Calicut to the misty hills of Kumily this wasn’t just another drive, it was an experience.

Ferrari 296 GTB. BMW M2. M340is. Porsche Cayman. G-Wagon. Different machines, one destination, and countless memories in between.

The route through Thrissur, Angamaly, Thodupuzha, and Kuttikkanam served everything a driving enthusiast could ask for long sweeping highways, technical hill roads, endless greenery, and clouds rolling over the mountains. As the fog settled in, every corner looked straight out of a dream.

But beyond the horsepower, exhaust notes, and beautiful roads, the best part of the journey was the people. The laughs at every stop, the conversations over tea, the shared passion for driving, and the friendships made every kilometre worth it.

Some drives are about reaching a destination. The best ones are about the memories you create along the way.

Here’s to many more sunrise starts, winding roads, mountain mist, and unforgettable drives with the best company. ❤️🏁

A film that feels like a farewell. A film built around Vijay, celebrating everything his fans have loved about him over the years.

Jananayagan revolves around a larger thanlife protagonist, blending mass moments, action, emotion, and political messaging into one commercial package.

The first half is where the film truly shines. Packed with whistle worthy entries, goosebumps inducing fan moments, and Anirudh’s electrifying background score, it keeps the energy high throughout.

The second half, however, leans heavily into political themes and exaggerated action. While the message is evident, the screenplay loses its grip, making parts of the film feel stretched and less impactful.

🎭 Performances
🔥 Vijay – Effortless swag, unmatched screen presence, and a performance that reminds everyone why he’s one of Tamil cinema’s biggest stars.
✨ Mamitha Baiju – Delivers a convincing performance, and her character arc is one of the pleasant surprises of the film.
💥 Bobby Deol – Commands attention whenever he’s on screen, though his character and dialogue delivery could have been stronger.

🎵 Anirudh Ravichander is undoubtedly the soul of the film. His music and background score elevate several scenes to another level.

🎥 On the technical front, the film is a mixed bag. While the scale is impressive, the VFX and CGI are inconsistent, with a few sequences looking noticeably underwhelming.

Overall: If you’re a Vijay fan, Jananayagan delivers enough mass moments to make the theatrical experience worthwhile. For everyone else, it’s an entertaining first half followed by a second half that doesn’t quite maintain the same momentum.
