The soothing aroma of tea is helping to spread the essence of Ayurveda in Japan through Shiho Taska, who participated in the Ayurveda program at Greens Ayurveda, Azhiyur, in March 2025.

She recently conducted an enlightening Ayurveda session in zenshinchai Japan, where she introduced guests to the healing wisdom of dosha-based diet and lifestyle. 💫

From understanding Prakriti to serving teas and sweets designed for each dosha, her session beautifully reflected the essence of Ayurveda — bringing balance, awareness, and wellness through simple daily practices. 🌸

Once your first connection to life, now a sacred portal to healing.

✨A few warm drops of oil.

✨A gentle spiral of touch.

BENEFITS OF NABHI ABHYANGA:

# Balances Vata and enhances digestion: Relieves gas, bloating, and constipation while improving overall gut health.
# Promotes emotional release: Calms anxiety and stress.
# Supports joint health: Strengthens muscles and
improves flexibility.
# Improves sleep quality: The soothing effect
encourages deep, restful sleep.
# Aids detoxification: Stimulates lymphatic flow and internal cleansing.
# Eases menstrual discomfort: Relaxes abdominal veins and reduces menstrual cramps.

HOW TO PERFORM NABHI ABHYANGA:

1. Warm the oil slightly to a comfortable body temperature.
2. Lie down on your back in a relaxed position.
3. Apply 3-5 drops of oil into and around the navel.
4. Massage gently in a clockwise motion for 5-10 minutes.
5. Leave the oil on for 20-30 minutes, or overnight if preferred, and rinse if necessary.

PRECAUTIONS:
# Avoid during pregnancy, menstruation, or in cases of
active abdominal illness (e.g., ulcers, appendicitis).
# Do not apply oil if there are open wounds or
infections near the navel.

RECOMMENDED OILS BY PRAKRITHI:

Vata Prakriti: Tila Taila (Sesame oil)

Pitta Prakriti: Coconut oil, Bala Taila

Kapha Prakriti: Castor oil, Mustard oil,
Karpasasthyadi Taila, Lavana Taila.

Applying warm oil to the navel helps pacify aggravated Vata dosha, which is often responsible for digestive disturbances. When Vata becomes imbalanced, it disrupts Pitta and Kapha as well, leading to fatigue and sluggishness.

On 13th May 2025, Dr. Asghar (Medical Officer, RG Ayurveda Medical College – Mahe) was invited as the Chief Guest and conducted an exclusive workshop on Ayurvedic Lifestyle & Panchakarma at Zero Gravity Wellness Centre, La Ciotat – Marseille.

A heartfelt thank you to Agnes Paule Vitton, the driving force behind the event and Chief Organiser from AyurKarma, Saint Cyr, Marseille, France, for making this gathering of wellness and wisdom possible.

Deep gratitude to all the incredible participants who joined us in embracing the ancient healing traditions of Ayurveda – from daily rituals to deep Panchakarma detox – in the serene surroundings of southern France.

It was a beautiful exchange of knowledge, healing, and holistic wellness.
