A 42-year-old woman came to Chandan Hospital with continuous urinary leakage following a hysterectomy performed elsewhere.

๐Ÿ”น ๐——๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜€: Right Ureterovaginal Fistula
๐Ÿ”น ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฒ: Extensive damage to the lower ureter, with a significant portion found non-viable during surgery.

To restore normal urinary function, the damaged ureter was removed up to healthy tissue, followed by ๐—ฅ๐—ผ๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฐ ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐˜„๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต ๐—ฎ ๐—•๐—ผ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ถ ๐—™๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฝ โ€” using a flap from the bladder to create a new pathway and reconnect the healthy ureter to the bladder.
