Meet Dr. Rajeshwari Sanjay Vhora
Professor & Head, Department of Emergency Medicine, BJ Government Medical College & Sassoon Hospital, Pune

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Rajeshwari Sanjay Vhora as a distinguished faculty member at COMET 2026 – Conclave of Medical Emergencies & Trauma.

A pioneering Emergency Medicine specialist, Dr. Vhora has dedicated her career to strengthening Emergency Care services in government hospitals. After completing her MBBS and MD Medicine, she transitioned to Emergency Medicine in 2012 and has since made significant contributions to clinical care, education, and leadership.

Under her leadership, the MD Emergency Medicine program at BJGMC and Sassoon Hospital was established in 2021. She has mentored 20+ Emergency Medicine postgraduate students, served as Chairperson of MAHAEM 2019, worked as Chief Editor of the TEAMS newsletter, and has been an examiner for MD and DNB Emergency Medicine examinations across India.

With over a decade of contribution as faculty for NEMBRIC, Dr. Vhora has played a pivotal role in shaping Emergency Medicine education and strengthening the specialty across India.
