Dr. Yogesh Mishra - Director and operating faculty, HEC, has over 22 years of expertise in the field of ENDO GI, ENDO UROLOGY, and ENDO GYNAECOLOGICAL surgeries. Dr. Vinayak Mishra has been rendering his services to the Centre as an Operating Faculty and specializes in LAPAROSCOPY, BARIATRIC and ROBOTIC SURGERY- the latest technical qualifications in the field. Thus, HEC encompasses a unique blend of experience with the latest technical know-how. It was a pleasure hosting Mr. Rikiya Nakamura, Senior Assistant Product Manager – Surgical Products, Olympus Medical Systems India Pvt. Ltd., at Hanumant Endosurgery Centre.
We had an engaging discussion on the future of 4K and 3D laparoscopic systems in India, sharing practical insights from a surgeon’s perspective. The conversation covered multiple important aspects, including the current platforms available in India—such as Karl Storz and Stryker—and how imaging algorithms and technologies adapt to Indian surgical settings and workflows.
Exchanges like these, where clinical experience meets product vision, are crucial in shaping technologies that truly add value in the operating room.
It was indeed a very insightful and pleasant meeting. Looking forward to more such interactions that help drive meaningful innovation in minimally invasive surgery.

Last week, I was honoured to receive the Medical Excellence Award from the Hindustan Times—and what made it even more special was receiving it from Mr. Brijesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

Moments like these remind me of the incredible journey I’ve had so far as a surgeon, and the importance of staying committed to improving lives through medicine.
