For over a decade my work has lived in the ICU, where minutes decide everything. And it taught me one thing I cannot forget: too many patients die not because their illness could not be treated, but because the right care could not reach them in time.

Beating that delay is my work. From a tele-ICU command centre, we watch over critically ill patients across the country, around the clock. I call it critical care beyond walls.

Hello. I am Dr. Noor Bano, a critical care doctor in Lucknow.

For over a decade, my work has lived in the ICU, the place where minutes decide everything. And somewhere along the way, I learned something I cannot forget: so many patients do not die because their illness could not be treated. They die because they could not reach the right ICU in time.

Beating that delay became my life’s work. I lead a tele-ICU command centre that watches over critically ill patients across Uttar Pradesh, around the clock, even hundreds of kilometres away. Specialist care, carried to the people who cannot reach it in time. I call it critical care beyond walls.
