🤰 *Can You Have a Normal Delivery After a C-Section?*

The answer is *YES*—but only if certain medical conditions are met.

Every pregnancy is unique, and the possibility of a *Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC)* depends on factors like:
✔️ The reason for your previous C-section
✔️ The gap between pregnancies
✔️ Number of previous C-sections
✔️ Your baby's growth and 9th-month scan reports
✔️ The health of your previous uterine scar
✔️ Natural onset of labor under expert medical supervision

With the right evaluation and guidance, many mothers can safely experience a normal delivery after a previous cesarean.

👩‍⚕️ *Dr. Anshu Mittal* is here to guide you through every step of your pregnancy journey and help you choose the safest delivery option for you and your baby.

🚨 Thinking about using an emergency contraceptive pill? Here are the facts you need to know about Unwanted 72! 🚨

Dr. Anshu Mittal from Raman Hospital breaks down how and when to use emergency contraception safely:

✅ When to take it: It should be taken within 72 hours of unprotected in*******se or a failed family planning method.
✅ Effectiveness: The sooner you take the tablet, the higher the success rate, which is typically between 80% to 85%.
⚠️ Not for regular use: This is strictly an emergency pill and should not become a regular habit (reserve it for rare occasions, like once a year).
⚠️ Side effects: Because it contains a high dose of Levonorgestrel (a progesterone), you might experience headaches, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and menstrual irregularities. Some women also experience light bleeding 5 to 7 days after taking it.
💡 Pro Tip: If you vomit within 2 hours of taking the pill, you must repeat the dose for it to be effective.

If your period is missed after taking the pill, pregnancy is still a possibility—be sure to consult your doctor immediately!

Is your baby not moving as much as usual? 🤰 Don't panic! Tracking your baby's movements, known as the Fetal Kick Count, is an excellent way to monitor their health. Here is a quick expert guide on how to do it:

When to expect movements: Mothers usually start feeling the baby move after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

When to start counting: You can begin keeping a formal count of the baby's movements after 26 weeks.

How to track: After your main meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), take a short 10-15 minute walk. Afterward, lie down and rest on your left side for 1 hour.

What to look for: Focus purely on the movements; you should feel at least 3 to 5 movements within that hour. Make a note of them, aiming for a total of 10 to 15 movements throughout the day.

Alternative tracking: You can also simply note your baby's movements during the morning, afternoon, and night.

What if movements feel low? Eat something sweet or drink some water or juice, rest, and try counting the movements again.

When to see a doctor: If you notice a persistent change or very little movement even after resting and having a snack, consult your doctor immediately.

Does Stress Affect Your Hormones? The Answer is YES! 🛑🧠

Dr. Anshu Mittal explains how physical, mental, or emotional stress can completely disrupt your hormonal balance. When you are stressed—whether from exams, work, extreme fasting, or intense athletic training—your brain spikes the production of cortisol.

This increase in cortisol directly impacts your reproductive hormones, leading to:

Delayed or absent ovulation

Missed or skipped periods

Delayed cycles

Prolonged spotting (sometimes lasting 15-20 days)

Take Charge of Your Health! 🌸
You can protect your menstrual health by actively managing your stress levels, eating a balanced diet, and maintaining a healthy and consistent sleep cycle.
