Understanding Ideal Weight
A simple way to estimate your ideal (medical) weight:
• For Males: Height (cm) – 100
• For Females: Height (cm) – 102
Example:
• Male (175 cm) → Ideal weight ≈ 75 kg
• Female (160 cm) → Ideal weight ≈ 58 kg
⚠️ When to Seek Medical Help
If weight increases significantly (BMI above 35), it may fall under morbid obesity, where medical treatments, including medications or gastric bypass surgery, may be recommended.
