Nobody warns you that humiliation
can come dressed as family.
As the person around you, your environment,
And it doesn't always look like abuse.

It might sound like truth sharing, joke or guidance

But your body remembers every single moment.
That frozen feeling.
That wish to just disappear.

If something in you recognised that —
this carousel was made for you. 💛
Save it.

Share it with a woman who needs to know
what she experienced has a name.
And it was never her fault.

There is a difference between genuine guilt and imposed guilt.

Genuine guilt says —
"I did something wrong. Let me make it right."
That is healthy. That is your conscience.

Imposed guilt says —
"I did nothing wrong but I still feel terrible"
"I said no and now I feel like a monster"
"I chose myself and now I feel selfish"

That guilt was planted inside you by someone who needed you to feel small so they could feel powerful.

It was never the truth about you.
It was the price they charged you for their own emotional emptiness.

Repeated Imposed Guilt shifts the focus from:
"what you feel" to "what you owe them"

You feel Confused about your own needs and Responsible for their emotions and over time,
you stop asking: “What do I need?” and
start asking: "What will make them happy?”

Pause here Recognize the Pattern and shift your focus back on yourself cuz your happiness is your own responsibility

Your daily effort becomes invisible
Your consistency becomes expected
Your contribution becomes “nothing special”
But their past effort?
Becomes a reference point to control you - a lifelong sacrifice
Repeated. Reminded. Highlighted.

You start feeling like:
No matter what I do… it’s not enough
I have to prove myself again and again
Maybe I am not doing enough
So you: over-give, over-perform, over-explain, Trying to earn… basic acknowledgment
You are no longer giving from choice
You are performing for approval
And that pressure never ends
This is not about your effort
This is about how value is being defined and controlled
When only their effort counts…
You will always feel “less”.

You need to communicate-
Not with anger. Not with long explanations.

But with clarity:
“I’m willing to contribute…
but my efforts matter too”
“If something is needed, tell me clearly… not by comparing or reminding the past”

Truth is:
Your worth is not measured by
how much you prove yourself
And love is not something
you have to constantly earn

If this pattern feels familiar…

You do everything, you sacrifice your needs, you always prioritise them and still you get to hear that "you are thankless"

They say things like:
“After all I’ve done for you…”
“Is this how you repay me?”
“Saari zindagi de di tumhare liye…”

Sounds like Love But feels like Pressure.

They use guilt tactics because of their own emotional immaturity as they don't know how to express their own needs directly or to maintain control and a lot of pressure on you as they keep reminding you of what they did so that you keep feeling indebted to them

You feel Guilty, Heavy even when you’ve done nothing wrong

If this feels familiar…
You’re not the problem
You were just never taught to see this pattern
DM “CLARITY” if you’re ready to break it

You know that feeling…
When you've done everything.
Cooked, cleaned, sacrificed, adjusted, stayed silent…

And still you hear—
"You're so ungrateful."
"Is this how you repay me?"
"After everything I've done for you…"

And something inside you just… sinks.
Not because you believe it.

But because you've heard it SO many times…
you've started to wonder if it's true.

That heaviness?
That constant feeling of never being enough?

It was never about you.
It was a guilt trap as love was given to control you.

Save this if your heart needed to hear that today. 💛

“If you feel confused, anxious, and constantly second-guessing yourself… you’re not overreacting.

Aapko aise feel karwaya ja raha hai.

Gaslighting ka pattern simple hota hai:
👉 Incident
👉 Denial
👉 Blame
👉 Self-doubt
👉 Silence
…and then it repeats.

Is process mein sabse pehle kya chala jaata hai?
Aapka self-trust.

Aur jab aap khud par doubt karne lagte ho— pattern aur strong ho jaata hai.

Break kaise hoga?

Not by proving more.
But by stopping the cycle of self-doubt.
Start trusting your experience again.
Wahi se healing start hoti hai.

Watch Part 1 - What is Gaslighting & why it is done?
Part 2 - How you normally behave and how it impacts you?

This is how gaslighting actually works
not because of what they do but
how you end up responding....

Jab aap apni baat prove karne lagte ho…
baar-baar explain karte ho…
ya unse validation lene lagte ho—
tab aap unknowingly us pattern mein aur phas jaate ho.

Because their goal is not to understand you.
Their goal is to make you doubt yourself.
Aur jab aap confuse ho jaate ho,
apni memory aur feelings par question karte ho—
that’s when the pattern succeeds.

So it’s not about explaining better.
It's about trusting your intuition even if someone denies it.
Kyunki aapka experience valid hai and that matters
