Our CTVS Team at SPS Hospitals, Ludhiana, successfully performed VATS-guided rib malunion correction with titanium plate fixation. A 27-year-old man presented with persistent chest pain one year after a roadside accident that resulted in two rib fractures with malunion. He was having regular excruciating pain for which he had to take heavy pain killers regularly. Following detailed evaluation and CT chest imaging, he underwent minimally invasive surgery with resection of the malunited rib segments and stabilization using titanium plates. The patient had an uneventful recovery and was discharged on the third postoperative day. This milestone highlights SPS Hospitals' expertise in advanced minimally invasive thoracic surgery, offering less postoperative pain, faster recovery, and excellent patient outcomes across a wide range of thoracic procedures.

Successfully done - A complicated Heart surgery pt , 60 yr Female had stenosis (shrunken ) left sided heart valve (Mitral Valve) , with large clot in left atrium ( upper chamber of left side heart) with leaking valve of right side of heart ( Tricuspid valve ) with Ejection Fraction 30% ( pumping of heart was low) . Pt had respiratory distress, palpitations and many problems. High risk surgery, came out well with Blessings of Almighty!!

We at SPS Hospitals Ludhiana are regularly doing Bypass Surgery in High Risk Cases , like low EF ( low heart pumping) , Bypass with Valve Replacement, Critical Triple Vessel Disease , Post Stent Blockage patients, Bypass in post MI VSR .
This patient was 72 yrs male , Critical Triple Vessel Disease , Diabetic , low Ejection Fraction 25%, was refused surgery at many centers due to very high risk . He was stabilised and Beating Heart Bypass done with IABP support. Ventilator removed on post op day 1 . Mobilised from day 2 , discharged on day 6. Responding well on follow up .
Always take second opinion if your patient is high risk and difficult, don’t lose hope .
