PREETHI PARAMEDICAL INSTITUTE
PREAMBLE:
Preethi Paramedical Institute was established in the year 2010 by the Blossom Global Trust, Madurai, in which Dr.T. Hema, MD, DGO, DNB (OBG) is a managing trustee.
The Main motto of the institute is empowerment of underprivileged women through offering technical education in the area of paramedical.
The institute has been affiliated with Indian Medical Association-Tamilnadu Branch, which offers courses in paramedical education.
The Blossom Global Trust, Madurai sponsors all expenses related to books and tuition fee throughout the course period.
The institute facilitates students to explore knowledge and skills in various departments in hospital and in class room, while maintaining strict discipline in every aspect.
70 students have been trained and ensured 100% placement up to 2014 batch in various hospitals in and around Madurai and other districts.

Note: All the above mentioned courses are recognized and conduct by the Indian Medical Association-Paramedical wing of Tamilnadu State Branch.
PHYSICAL FACILITIES OF THE INSTITUTE:

2. Nursing procedure demonstration laboratory.

4. Audio-Visual Aids: Computer, LCD Projector, Loud speakers, Mike, White Boards, and Various Educational Charts.
5. Students are trained at its own well equipped 110 Bedded Multi-specialty Hospital with 3 sophisticated laminar airflow operation theaters, IRCU, ICU,
Labour ward, Casualty with resuscitation room, Post-operative and pre-operative wards. The hospital functions round the clock daily with Super specialty doctors,
experienced nurses and technicians who tutoring the students in the respective clinical areas then and there.
6. Highly sophisticated Radiology dept and clinical laboratory with highly qualified microbiologists and bio-chemists are available round the clock.
7. Physical therapy departments with highly qualified therapists.
8. Library with latest nursing, Medical laboratory and medical books and journals
9. Separate Accommodation facilities for both male and female students.

TEACHING METHOD:
1. Class room teaching by nursing tutors, external lectures and doctors of various specialties using power point presentation.
2. Clinical demonstration and teaching on the field from Monday to Saturday.
3. Conducting clinical rounds, patient teaching programs, bedside teaching, etc
4. Group discussion, individual clinical presentation, care study, procedure demonstration, role play and individual and group projects.
5. Sensitizing students on various important days like World health day, Nurses and Doctors day, world diabetes day, World AIDS day, etc.
EVALUATION METHOD:
1. Both Summative and Formative evaluation.
2. Unit test, term tests and model examination will be conducted by the respective subject teachers regularly.
3. Internal Assessment will be based on the test marks, attendance and behavior at clinical settings.
EXAMINATION:
1. Annual Examination will be conducted by the Examiners appointed by the IMA in the common center in the respective district. Practical examination conducted in respective clinical settings.
2. Examination schedule would June for regular and January for supplementary candidates.
CERTIFICATE:
1. Course Completion certificate will be issued by the Institution on completion of course period.
2. Diploma Certificates and mark sheets will be issued on the day of statewide convocation conducted by the IMA after successful completion course.
FEE:
1. Application cost: INR:100.
2. Tuition fee and Book fee will be sponsored by BLOSSOM GLOBAL TRUST, Madurai.
3. Food fee to be paid by the students.
PLACEMENT:
Placement will be facilitated by the institute periodically in private hospitals, Nursing Homes, Clinics, Rehabilitation Center, etc., 100% placement is assured.
