The old gardener chuckled as he knelt beside the struggling rose bush. Its blooms were wilting, overshadowed by the vibrant climbers next to it. "Trying too hard, little one?" he muttered. He gently pruned away dead leaves and adjusted the support, but didn't force the blooms open. As he stood back, a young apprentice approached, puzzled. "Why not make it grow bigger and brighter, master?"
The old gardener smiled. "Flowers, child, bloom best when they are understood. We nourish their roots, provide support, but we cannot force their beauty. It unfolds naturally. So too, with ourselves. We spend years trying to be someone else, someone 'better.' Yet, true growth comes from accepting who we are, flaws and all. Then, like the rose, our authentic self will blossom, stronger and more beautiful than any forced bloom."
