Manual vs product based exfoliation. Which is better?

Product based - AHA, BHA, PHA based products

Face washes - once daily or alternate day
Creams - daily or weekly thrice depending upon strength
Home peels - once in 1 - 2 weeks
Professional peels in clinic - once a month.

Manual exfoliation - face washes with particles, brushes, loofah, devices
Should be avoided as there is uneven exfoliation, no depth control, irritation and skin damage.
