We are pleased to share our latest publication from the Neurosciences team at Hannah Joseph Hospital, Madurai, India featured in the Neurointervention journal on the early use of flow-diverter stents in complex ruptured intracranial aneurysms.

This single-center study evaluated patients with blister-like, fusiform/dissecting and small saccular aneurysms treated within 7 days of ictus using a standardized dual-antiplatelet and hemodynamic protocol.

The series demonstrated:
- 100% technical success
- 84.6% favorable functional outcome (mRS 0–2 at 90 days)
- 0% aneurysm rebleeding
- 100% complete occlusion in all patients with imaging follow-up acceptable ischemic complication profile, with only one case of permanent deficit.

These outcomes highlight the feasibility and safety of early flow diversion in carefully selected ruptured aneurysms even in a resource-limited setting, when supported by structured protocols and an experienced multidisciplinary team.
