This one isn't from us.
It's from every patient who ever sat across from us and said — "I just wish they understood. I just wish I could explain it without watching them pull away."
So we wrote it for them.
The person in your life with schizophrenia is probably not telling you how frightening it is to live inside their own mind. They're not telling you because the last time they tried — they saw your face change. They learned that honesty costs them something.
They are not their diagnosis.
They are not dangerous.
They are not asking you to fix anything.
They are asking you to stay.
Swipe through this one slowly. And if someone comes to mind while you read it — send it to them. Or better yet, send it to yourself and let it change how you show up for them.
