A Journey of Service, Learning & Gratitude 🇮🇳🚩
Over the past 13 days, I had the privilege of participating in two significant health outreach initiatives across Bharat:
🇮🇳 North-East Bharat (Assam & Nagaland) - 23rd Dhanwantari Sewa Yatra 2026
🇮🇳 South Bharat (Kolar, Karnataka) – National Workshop on Family Adoption Program
As a young and evolving Primary Care Physician, these experiences have been among the most transformative milestones of my medical and social journey. From serving communities in the North-East to engaging in meaningful academic deliberations in the South, I gained deeper insights into grassroots healthcare delivery, community engagement, and the implementation of national health initiatives.
I express my sincere gratitude to my respected HOD, Dr. (Prof.) P. K. Lal Sir, and
Dr. Rashmi Ma’am (Nodal Officer – Family Adoption Program, DMCH Darbhanga), along with my department, for entrusting me with this invaluable opportunity.
I am deeply thankful to Dr. Aruna V. Vanikar Ma’am, the visionary force behind the evolution of the Family Adoption Program and Former President, UG Board, NMC Delhi, for her blessings and encouragement during the Dhanwantari Sewa Yatra as well as at the workshop.
My heartfelt thanks to Dr. Suyash Sir, National Coordinator, and Sonal Ji, Bihar State Coordinator, for their leadership and guidance during the Dhanwantari Sewa Yatra.
I am also grateful to Dr. Abhishek Sir for his blessings and support before and throughout the workshop, and to the entire organizing team whose dedication made the event a grand success.
These experiences reaffirm my commitment to strengthening primary care and community health in our nation.
