We feel glad to inform that the team effort paid off..

This young man with history of gunshot injury over right lumbar region presented to us on 31st jan in state of shock..

On evaluation it was found that the bullet was stuck in anterior abdominal wall after injuring his intestines and mesentery at multiple sites with gross hemoperitoneum (collected blood in abdominal cavity)..

Decision of exploratory laparotomy was taken and the patient was operated by eminent surgeon Dr T K SINGH under General Anesthesia given by Dr Gautam bhardwaj..

Operation was successful and bullet was removed , gut injuries were repaired after resection ( anastomosis done )..

Post operatively patient was managed on mechanical ventilatory support for 24 hours and then weaned off successfully..

Three units of whole blood were transfused in the post op period ..

Patient was successfully discharged with stable hemodynamics on 12th feb from hospital and is absolutely alright now...

Today we have completed 5 years of serving the society...
