Meet the speculum — the tool we use during a Pap smear.
It might look intimidating, but the test itself takes just 2–5 minutes and can literally save your life.

Here’s what we check during a Pap smear:
1) Abnormal cervical cells
2) Signs of HPV (the virus linked to cervical cancer)
3) Infections or inflammation
