🌿 Eat Better, Feel Better: Simple Healthy Eating Tips

🥗 1. Don’t chase perfection, chase consistency
Small healthy choices daily matter more than strict diets you can’t sustain.

🍎 2. Add before you subtract
Instead of cutting foods, start by adding fruits, veggies, and protein to your meals.

💧 3. Hydration is underrated
Sometimes your body asks for water, not food. Keep sipping through the day.

🍽️ 4. Eat slowly, mindfully
Give your body time to feel full. Rushing = overeating.

🥜 5. Smart snacking wins
Swap chips with nuts, fruits, or yogurt: simple upgrades, big impact.

🌙 6. Timing matters too
Late-night heavy meals can mess with digestion and sleep.

🍛 7. Balance your plate
Carbs + protein + fats = energy, satiety, and fewer cravings.

💛 8. Your body is not a punishment project
Healthy eating is self-care, not restriction.

✨ Start small. Stay consistent. Your body will thank you.

🔴Let's burst one more myth🔴

•Friend: "What will you have for dinner tonight?"🤔

•Me: "I am not feeling hungry. I will just have a fruit!"🍎

•Friend: "Stop 🛑. Don't you know you should not eat fruits at night as it will raise your blood sugar due to a slower metabolism at night?"

•Me: 🤦🏼‍♀️

🔴You can safely have fruits at any time during the day.🔴

♦️Agreed fruits have simple sugar like Fructose which impacts your blood sugar but the metabolic pathway by which fructose is metabolised in the body is different so it will not increase your blood sugar as rapidly as having glucose itself.

♦️Always remember to keep a gap of 2 hours between a meal and fruit to maintain your blood sugar levels. ✅

♦️Also having just a fruit at night is not enough if you have not had a fulfilling snack before. ❌

♦️Pair the fruit with a glass of milk🥛 and 2-3 walnuts or almonds so that you can add healthy protein and fats to your meal and make it a balanced one and avoid hypoglycemia ( low blood sugar) during sleep. ✅

♦️Also portion of fruit is important and it's better to have 100g (1 medium sized fruit) at a time.

♦️If you find this interesting, do like and share with others. ✅
