“This Independence Day, I had the privilege of using my surgical skills to bring freedom to a woman — freeing her from three long-standing gynecological conditions, all in a single surgery.” 🇮🇳❤️

✨ A massive 12 cm fundal fibroid, weighing 850 grams, was removed.
✨ A left tubal ectopic pregnancy was treated while preserving the fallopian tube.
✨ Three dermoid cysts were removed while preserving ovarian function.

Three major problems.
One surgery.
One woman given a chance to move forward with renewed health and hope. ❤️

For me, this is what Independence Day truly represents —
liberation from pain, disease and fear, and the freedom to reclaim one’s health.

🇮🇳 A woman’s health is her freedom.
And being able to restore that freedom is one of the greatest privileges of being a surgeon.

Happy Independence Day! 🇮🇳

Last year, as I stepped into my 40s, I also stepped into perimenopause.

The body does what it is programmed to do—higher cortisol, insulin resistance, declining estrogen, and with it came belly fat, inflammation, bloating, mood swings, and sleepless nights.

I had two choices: resist this phase or embrace it.

I chose to embrace it—with grace—by making my health my highest priority.

And somehow, the universe responded.

It brought a coach into my life—a coach with deep expertise in exercise science and biomechanics, gut health & nutrition but more importantly, someone who believes in discipline, consistency, and lasting transformation.

His coaching was never confined to the gym.It extended into my kitchen, my daily routines, and ultimately, my mindset.

Every meal, every drink accountability mattered. Initially, I found it irritating.
But over time, I realised he wasn’t trying to control me—he was teaching me how to make better choices.

Healthy over unhealthy.
Conscious over careless.
Pause. Decide. Act.

There were consequences too—extra repetitions, tougher workouts, and yes, “punishments” for unhealthy choices. On non-training days, a one-hour walk was non-negotiable, even if that meant walking at 10 PM.

That’s what discipline looks like.
That’s what consistency builds.
That’s what transformation feels like.

My goal was never to look beautiful.
My goal was to become fit, strong, healthy, and capable—to build a body that would support me through every phase of life, especially this one.

What once demanded effort has now become my lifestyle.

Today, I don’t make healthy choices because someone is watching.
I make them because they are part of who I have become.

The smile is the same , the heart is the same but the woman has changed . I had never imagined that my biggest transformation wouldn’t happen in my twenties - it would happen at 40. Deeply grateful to the coach at peak performance fitness , for not just trainning my body but helping me rewire my mindset . Becos sometimes people enter our lives not to stay forever but to heal , repair , restore and uplift . And for every woman waiting for the “right time “ to choose herself ……

I start healing even before my scalpel touches a patient.

Over the years, countless patients have told me something that has stayed with me.

“Doctor, you’re so different in the consultation room and in the operation theatre.”

In my consulting room, they know me as a guide, a mentor, and a friend—someone who listens, explains, and reassures.

But the operation theatre is where fear often takes over.

They tell me that the moment they enter, the soft chants of the Hanuman Chalisa begin to quiet their anxious minds. And then I walk in, dressed for surgery.

“The moment you enter,” they say, “the entire atmosphere of the OT changes. It feels charged with a calm, reassuring energy. You look so confident, so composed, so radiant, and so completely in control that our anxiety simply melts away. We instantly know we’re in safe hands.”

Every time I hear these words, I’m reminded that healing doesn’t begin with the first incision.

It begins with trust.
It begins with presence.
It begins with the energy you carry into the room.
It begins with the confidence a surgeon silently transfers to her patient.

I start healing even before my scalpel does.

And perhaps, that is the most sacred part of being a surgeon.

Tvameva — where healing begins long before surgery. How many of my patients would agree ???

A wishing tree... gifted by a patient.
They say it manifests wishes.
But with the deepest gratitude, I believe God has already given me far more than I could ever wish for myself.
If I have one wish left, it is this-
May I continue to serve every woman who walks through my doors with compassion, integrity, and the intention to give my very best.
Because at Tvameva, every woman is a reflection of the Divine, and healing her is both my purpose and my prayer.

As a gynaecologist, I am privileged to witness life’s greatest miracle unfold.
I first meet them as a tiny heartbeat in the womb. For nine months, I watch them grow through every scan, every milestone, every reassuring heartbeat. And then one day, they arrive—and I hold them in my hands.

Every time, I find myself living a little piece of motherhood through each journey.

Even today, I remain awestruck that a s***m measuring barely 100 microns and an egg of about 400 microns come together to create an entire human being over just nine months. A beating heart, tiny fingers, curious eyes, a unique soul… all emerging from something almost invisible to the naked eye.

And when these little ones look back at me like this, the maternal instinct within me speaks louder than words ever can - a reminder that nurturing begins long before birth, and love often finds us in the most unexpected ways .

Science explains the process, but it can never diminish the miracle. Every birth leaves me with the same feeling of gratitude, humility, and wonder. ❤️

This Doctors’ Day, I’d love to hear from you. ❤️

If we’ve ever connected—whether as doctor and patient, colleague, friend, or in any other way—I’d be truly grateful if you could describe how I made you feel in just one word.

Your one word will mean more to me than you know. 💙

Please leave it in the comments below. Thank you for being a part of my journey. 🙏

The two most powerful instruments I hold as a gynecologist are a pen and a scalpel.

The pen prescribes advice and treatment—medications, lifestyle modifications, reassurance, and sometimes even a change in mindset. It heals through guidance, patience, and trust.

The scalpel, on the other hand, carries the power to transform. It can remove disease, restore health, bring new life safely into the world, and leave behind scars that become symbols of resilience, courage, and survival.

Both serve the same purpose—to benefit the patient—but in very different ways.

Truthfully, one may be more beneficial to me professionally, financially, or even emotionally. Yet every day, I am entrusted with a decision: whether to use the pen or the scalpel. That decision cannot be based on what benefits me; it must be based solely on what is best for the patient.

And that is both the privilege and the responsibility of being a doctor.

Choosing the patient’s well-being over personal gain is not always the easiest path, but it is the path that builds trust, earns respect, and creates lasting impact.

Because at the end of the day, a successful practice is built on skill, but a meaningful legacy is built on integrity.

The true art of medicine lies in knowing when the pen is enough and when the scalpel is necessary—and having the wisdom to choose the patient over yourself, every single time. ✨
