Sometimes, you can’t change the situation you’re in.
You can’t control everything that happens around you.

But you can choose how you respond, what you make of it, and what you do next.

And sometimes, that small shift is all it takes to change the outcome.

The first time CPR feels different.

The hesitation. The adrenaline. The sound of a rib cracking under a life-saving compression.

And then — continuing.

Because in that moment, it’s not about being fearless. It’s about learning, trusting your team, and not giving up.

For an intern performing CPR for the first time, seeing that patient survive can become a moment they never forget.

Medicine is learned not just from books, but from doing, being guided, and working together.

Learn the skill. Trust the team. Keep going. ❤️

Fever during pregnancy? Don’t ignore it. 🤰🌡️
Early testing and the right treatment can make a big difference for both mother and baby. Especially during monsoon season, don’t self-medicate—speak to your doctor early.

Fibroids don’t always mean a hysterectomy. And preserving the uterus doesn’t always mean a myomectomy.

The right surgery depends on your age, symptoms, fertility plans, size and number of fibroids, previous surgeries, and overall health.

🔹 Myomectomy removes the fibroids while preserving the uterus.
🔹 Hysterectomy removes the uterus and is a definitive solution when childbearing is complete or when other factors make it the better option.

Both can often be performed laparoscopically—but the “right” surgery is different for every woman.

Save this guide if you’re navigating a fibroid diagnosis, and discuss your individual options with your gynaecologist.

Okay fine, I couldn’t resist jumping on the kinda chic trend wagon. 😄

A little doctor, a little entrepreneur, a little chaos… and a lot of very questionable handbag contents. 😂

Here’s my version. ✨

Treat the Patient, Not Just the Problem We share a story from my OBGYN residency about a patient with heavy bleeding who had a dangerously slow heart rate, teaching me the importance of treating the whole patient, not just the organ.

04/08/2026

We share a story from an OBGYN’s experience where a patient’s personal conflict escalated into a physical scuffle in the hospital corridor, requiring quick intervention and resolution through conversation, highlighting the unpredictable challenges doctors face beyond medical training. We talk about why some babies are delivered in the washroom during labor, explaining that as the baby’s head descends, it presses on the re**um, creating a sensation like needing a bowel movement. We also reassure that passing stool during labor is normal and not judged by medical staff. ThisActuallyHappened NormalBirth MedicalMyths
