I have been reading about it and practicing mindfulness meditation and staying mindful for so many years, attended retreats by masters in this field. As my practice deepens I have started to understand myself and how things are around me. My experiences are different now. Each day I have a new realisation about myself and what I do. Here's a new insight that I am sharing with everyone.
Recently I have been contemplating on ME Time. Previously I use to feel that ME Time is about the free time I get to do something I want to do like reading or a watching movie or playing a game other than work or household activities or taking care of my parents. But now, I realise that everything I do is my ME Time. It could be doing laundary, filling up water, having a meal, doing my professional work or making children do homework - all comprises of My Time. I am mindful of everything as much as possible. I feel more freer and not pressurized to find that little half hour or 15 mins as ME Time. Everything I do is my own ME Time!
