And this is how
SINGLE, BUT NOT BROKEN — A Sharing Circle for Singles
unfolded… 💗

On a day that can often feel emotionally loaded, we came together to create a space that felt warm, compassionate, and deeply human.

We held conversations around loneliness, longing, dating fatigue, hope, and self-relationship. There was laughter, there were pauses, there were “me too” moments and a shared sense that being single carries far more nuance than the world often makes space for.

For many participants, this phase felt liberating. Expansive. A time of reconnecting with themselves rather than waiting to be chosen.

We also made room for lightness through games, reflections, and collective moments of joy because healing spaces don’t always have to feel heavy.

So grateful to have co-facilitated this circle and held this space together with 🤍

If you’d like to be part of future sharing circles and reflective spaces, stay connected we’ll be hosting more in the coming months.

Because being single definitely doesn't mean broken.

Hi, I’m Rashi Goyal — Counselling Psychologist, Couples Therapist, and founder of The Empty Chair Counselling Centre.

This little caricature captures the heart of my practice:
Where couples learn to listen and not just reply.
Where individuals untangle emotions, patterns, and inner conflicts.
Where reflective pauses quietly turn into breakthroughs.
Where integrative work brings together the emotional, relational, and somatic pieces of you.

There are journals, therapeutic tools, soft silences, and a lot of “let’s slow this down together.”

A space that feels warm, human, and deeply holding because healing happens best when you feel safe enough to be fully seen. 🤍

Therapists need spaces too.
Spaces where we can pause, reflect, question, learn, and be supported.

Supervision has been one of the most meaningful parts of my own journey—helping me grow into my work with more clarity, confidence, and compassion for myself as a practitioner.

This year, at The Empty Chair Counselling Centre, I’m opening a Group Supervision space for therapists who want to grow clinically and personally, while being part of a reflective and supportive community.

✨ A space to discuss cases
✨ To understand your therapeutic self
✨ To feel less alone in the work we do
✨ To grow with intention and care

If you’re a therapist with 0-5 years of experience and this resonates with you, I’d love for you to apply.

Let’s begin the year with reflection, growth, and connection.

The new group will be starting from 8th January

As therapists, we are constantly evolving; clinically, ethically, and personally.

My supervision journey with has been one of the most grounding and transformative experiences of my practice. It brought depth to my clinical work, helped me move from reactivity to intention, and shaped the way I now hold therapeutic spaces. In many ways, this work is the reason I began facilitating group supervision myself.

With the new year come new beginnings at The Empty Chair Counselling Centre, and I am happy to share the start of Group Supervision for therapists.

Group supervision offers shared reflection, multiple lenses, emotional containment, and the reassurance that we do not have to work in isolation. It allows our work to feel more thoughtful, ethical, and sustainable.

Group Supervision Details:
• 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month
• 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
• For therapists with 2–5 years of experience
• Group size: Minimum 3 | Maximum 6
• Fees: ₹1500 per month

This will be a space that is kind, non-judgmental, trauma-informed, and grounded in integrity where therapists can show up fully, learn collectively, and grow consistently.

For those looking to begin the year with intention and reflective practice, this space may be for you.
Feel free to reach out for registrations or queries.

The Empty Chair Counselling Centre Turns 5

Five years ago, in the middle of a lockdown, The Empty Chair Counselling Centre began as a quiet idea during a phone call with my mentor, .
I was at a crossroads, trying to figure out my next step, when I shared a dream of building a space rooted in empathy, ethics, and inclusive healing.

Divya gently held that vision with me. She helped name the organisation, built the first version of our website, and — most importantly — believed in me before I believed in myself.

That conversation became a decision. That decision became TEC, and today we celebrate five deeply meaningful years.

✨ In this time, TEC has:

~Supported hundreds of individuals and couples across the globe

~Conducted multiple workshops and webinars

~Collaborated with organisations, schools, and professionals

~Trained and mentored new therapists and interns

~Built a strong reputation for sustainable, inclusive, trauma-informed care

As TEC grew, so did I — from a solo practitioner to a founder and facilitator. The journey has been full of learning, unlearning, showing up, and growing into roles I once only dreamed of.

To Divya — thank you for planting this seed with me. Your support is woven into everything TEC stands for.
And to every client, collaborator, and colleague — you are the reason this chair has never been empty. ❤️

Here’s to what’s next — one session, one story, one person at a time.

🧠 Embracing Weekend Therapy: A Commitment to My Clients' Well-being

I often get asked, "Why do you work on weekends?
When do you take a break?"

The truth is, my weekends are my busiest days. While many unwind, I find purpose in being present for my clients—most of whom are working professionals with tight weekday schedules. Weekend sessions offer them a chance to engage in therapy without the stress of daily work commitments, leading to more productive and focused sessions .

To maintain balance, I take Mondays off. This rhythm ensures I'm recharged and fully present during sessions. Offering weekend therapy not only meets my clients' needs but also differentiates my practice in a field where such flexibility is rare .

💬 Final Thought:
Being a therapist isn't just a profession; it's a commitment. By aligning my schedule with my clients' needs, I strive to be the support they seek, whenever they need it.
