Did you think beetroot is good for hemoglobin because of its colour?

If yes, you are not alone! I remember being surprised when I learned about this back in nutrition school as well. We have grown up listening to myths and now a lot of them are internalized to a degree that surprises me.

With this series, I wish to empower you with knowledge that ensures you can look after yourself. What are some common questions you have? Ask me and I’ll answer them all.

What protein should I take?!! This is the most common question every nutritionist gets asked.

I have mentioned the products I recommend and have. Most of this is my personal stash.

Every protein comes with properties that are unique. And every person needs to be looked at individually to understand what protein will work best for them.

The most common one I recommend is the Plant Protein. Fermented Yeast is next. I add the protein enhancer in food, rotis mainly.

Let me know if you have any specific questions around this. You can leave a comment, I’m going to answer all questions on this topic, considering how many of you are taking the wrong protein.

I hope this post helps.

Here’s another common misconception decoded for you!

Is ACV the magical tonic the Internet claims? No, not at all!

But it does have its pros.

The way I recommend it at the clinic is to have before a meal that is a little more indulgent than usual. You feel like a croissant? First have the ACV in water.

But, this all only works if 90% of your meals are low glycemic index, high protein, high fibre and whole.

Have you tried ACV for glucose? Tell me what you saw 👇

Monsoon instantly makes us crave these foods! And rightfully so. Here my favourite monsoon snacks made healthier (not healthy). The idea here is to avoid fried and maida, the basics. That’s it!

Also, I know the idea of batata wada on a tawa feels wrong, but it works very well!

Try these and tell me which one you like.
