Thousands of visitors daily visit the Global Pagoda and experience Anapana meditation. They feel it helps to calm and concentrate the mind and they leave the Pagoda Campus with a sense of peace. They understand that the seemingly simple technique of Anapana might help them to deal with fears and anxieties and reduce the stress and pressures of modern living.
However, on Wednesday, 22nd August 2022, on request; Senior Assistant Teacher Sh. Yogesh Shah ji along few Dhamma Servers visited Police Commissioner's Office of MB-VV to share similar results of mental calmness and relief from chaotic working pressure.
Two of Guruji's Discourses; ‘Introduction to Vipassana Meditation’ & ‘Introduction to Anapana meditation’ were organized at Police H.Q. of Mira-Bhayander & Vasai-Virar (MB-VV) Commissionerate Ramnagar, Shanti-garden Mira-Road East.
The session was attended by over 120 police personnel including senior officials. The session enabled these officials to understand better through direct experience- the significance of 'Anapana' in calming the mind and the relevance of Vipassana meditation.
Shri. Yogesh Shah ji conducted the Anapana session and answered their queries. Respected Sh. Sadanand Date ji, Commissioner of Police briefly visited the gathering in the conference hall and encouraged the participants by informing that he is also a Vipassana Sadhak.
